Mine is to sit them in front of CBeebies, make myself a cup of coffee and come on MN . Go into another room and punch a pillow/cushion? How old are they?

huge sympathies, I have a 4 yr old (just started school) who is overtired and currently working self into a hysterical tantrum because I said no to something.
I am doing my best to ignore, and stay calm - but it is hard.

Remember the good old mantra...
'This won't last forever'
