Cod-liver oil to 16mth old?

Dear Sir or Madam,

Is it OK to give Cod-liver oil or other source of Omega-3 to our 16-mth old son? He's glowing with health as everything so far he's eaten is organic, and after I'd breastfed him for 6 mths he's having organic formula. We still give him organic formula as he's only got 3 teeth so far; so till they're properly up we're giving him a good boost!
Does this all sound OK? Any other tips are welcome!

Thanks - Ann

Cod liver oil is too rich in vitamin A. I use Eye-Q and started about a year ago, my ds is now 2 1/2, I get mine from boots its about £9.99 though I think theres' a 3 for 2 on at the moment. I used to add it to his milk, though he now takes it from a spoon and says " yum, water!" So crikes knows what he thinks water tastes like There are other brands as well, if you do a mumsnet search for fish oils you'll get loads of info.
