Heels99 · 03/07/2014 23:19

CookieTramp · 04/07/2014 07:32

What do they wear when they want to get messy or climb things?

AuntieStella · 04/07/2014 08:51

heels99 was making a joke - not being the spelling police FFS

We'd all like patient shoes

notaflamingclue · 04/07/2014 10:58

I can't be the only mother who regularly finds her child in the dog basket chewing on old rawhide treats which not even the dogs will touch any more.

ColdCottage · 04/07/2014 11:32

"That dropped an iPhone on my babies head" he also didn't notice. I cried he was a week old!

I can't be the only mother who put a wheat bag in DSs cot when he was a newborn so it wouldn't be cold/a shock (PFB?)

purplemurple1 · 04/07/2014 11:37

I can't be the only mother that lets their baby eat grass. (tbh he mostly spits it out but oes keep trying presumably in case it tastes good one day.)

Northumberlandlass · 04/07/2014 11:40

I can't be the only mother who attempted to answer a question from DS about sex & he now thinks tadpoles will come out of his willy!

MrsAtticus · 04/07/2014 11:58

I can't be the only mother who cried when DS2 was too big to be swaddled anymore because he was growing up Sad

TheJourney22 · 04/07/2014 22:24

I can't be the only mother who has chopped DS top of thumb off when clipping his nails ....Hmm I cried more than he did

Youdontneedacriminallawyer · 04/07/2014 22:28

journey don't worry - you're not Blush

mineofuselessinformation · 04/07/2014 22:29

I can't be the only mother who bawled all the way home after the hairdresser cut dc's fringe TOO SHORT.... in this case fringe was a good inch above eyebrows - I was too gobsmacked to say anything.

ch1134 · 07/07/2014 22:26

Who knows they could not follow any of those crazy baby routines and groans inwardly whenever other mothers mention them

insanityscratching · 07/07/2014 22:33

I can't be the only mother who left her PFB outside a shop and went home without him
Glam you aren't the only one I dressed dd1 in smocked dresses and patent shoes she's 21 now and has about 80 dresses (of her own choosing) dozens of pairs of shoes and one pair of jeans that have barely ever been worn.

Enjoyingmycoffee1981 · 07/07/2014 22:35

Who loves the smell of her baby's bowel movements and farts.

Who calls her children utterly ridiculous nonsense names e.g, wiffy wombat, niffy up the squiffy, peachy bot.

Who literally can not have a discussion with her 4 year old son without covering him in kisses. Andhe just carries on talking, completely oblivious, which makes me want to kiss him even more.

Who gets proper genuine bona fide 'job' satisfaction when they have eaten copious amounts of steamed veg and gobbled up fruit.

Enjoyingmycoffee1981 · 07/07/2014 22:36

Mine of useless.... I had a knot in my stomach and ball in my throat when hairdresser cut ds hair too short. I could hardly speak.

BertieBotts · 07/07/2014 22:39

Oh CH1134 me too!

I can't be the only mother who is hoping their child won't throw up tonight. (DS came out sweaty and shaking earlier claiming he felt sick. No sick yet, and he's asleep, touch wood!)
