sorry I have no idea about reusables but I have always felt that own brand are just as good IMO I don't think pampers are very good at all re leaking

I have and still use tescos and morrisons. I have found that tescos are best for dd2 but morrisons were better for dd1. I think you have try them all a because all children legs and bums are different so different nappies fit better on some children than others

lilymum · 09/09/2006 17:48

tescos own brand fine for older babies, have to say that pampers/huggies always out-performed boots nappies on my newborns.

magnolia1 · 09/09/2006 17:50

Have used pampers (not for long!!) Huggies were great for dd1 and the twins but never suited dd4. Tesco own were the best by far though

MORRISONS THE VERY BEST imo, hAVE USED THEM ON A TODDLER AND A NEWBORN, AND THEY ARE BRILL.

MamaG · 09/09/2006 17:52

Asda fine, Tesco better - I used pampers/huggies for years too

schneebly · 09/09/2006 17:52

tesco own brand (purple packet) are better than huggies and just as good as pampers IMO.

JackieNo · 09/09/2006 17:55

Tesco own brand (purple pack that Schneebly mentioned) are the ones we use too - have been great.

aldi are very good. use them when we're visiting dps parents and can't wash cotton nappies

WriggleJiggle · 12/09/2006 15:37

Tesco ones are excellent they contain everything (lazy mum - less nappy changes). Asda ones are not as good - the sticky tabs are really really sticky (incompetent mum - gets stuck to everything). Pampers are rubbish - everything comes out the side - yuk!

JessaJam · 12/09/2006 15:46

BETTER than pamper/huggies IMO and IME. Brand name ones are SO smelly, strange and very pungent stench within a millisecond of any urine touching them ( hmmm, cynic in me suggests this means more frequent changes and therefore further purchases!! ). I use disposables at night and use Sainsburys and Morrisons, both do the job perfectly adequately!

JessaJam · 12/09/2006 15:47

Oh and reuseables are GREAT! Ds in 13 months and I use totsbots and motherease onesize.

Judessis · 12/09/2006 15:55

Used tescos which were fab until joined the cloth brigade - tots bots and sandys are great (and vvv absorbent for my heavy wetter), found huggies too restricting and pampers leaked... Lidl nappies are great though - used them for quite a while before discovering tescos!

PurplemonkeyBritishnessQueen · 12/09/2006 16:12

Tesco nappies RULE! and they make a pull-up as well!
