ESRC interview advice

I have an interview coming up for a PhD studentship in the social science/development area and any advice about what to anticipate, the best points to pull out about my research proposal; anything that I can do (bar get my head down and read, read, read, read/ be so comfortable with my proposal that I dream of it) in general really.

I did my masters almost a decade ago now; have been working in an academic environment since then in terms of research and things, but am so worried as will be up against students who will just be finishing their masters, be totally as hot as it's possible to be on their topics and proposals (I am passionate about mine, but don't have that immersion in topic iyswim that someone coming straight from writing their dissertations etc has).

Otherwise, please do all keep your fingers crossed for me!
