Just written a post about how well people treat the ill. Called 'Random acts of kindness?' Do come and tell us what you think at:

Do you really think this is the right section for you to try to plug your blog? Confused

Flaxhigh · 29/06/2014 23:57

Thanks for your question. Yes, I really do.

I've had a lot of seriously chronically ill women with kids looking at it and as a mum disabled with chronic illness I thought more disabled/ill women might benefit from it.

I'm not selling anything, promoting anything. Nothing in it for me at all.

Apart from driving traffic to your site, you mean.

Not at all. I'm simply flagging up a resource for ill/disabled mums. Just as I would if I met mumsnet ill mums in person. I'm sorry you feel this way about it.

I read your post, OP. It's very intelligent and thought-provoking. Are you an academic?

Flaxhigh · 03/07/2014 19:37

Thanks nomdemere, really appreciate that.

No, I'm not an academic just an ill mum whose been very disabled with chronic illness all my adult life (but I do think a lot!).

I'm going to write about having kids while being ill soon as I think there are a lot of ill mums out there and we're very isolated - hence my trying to flag up the blog to other ill mums.
