Our ds is nearly 7 months old and tonight is the first night he will be on his own all night :-(

We need to do it as we are disturbing him but I feel so nervous and worried.

Please tell me it will be ok x

It will be totally fine. I felt exactly the same. Now 5 months on it feels totally normal.

We do have an infra red video monitor which I find reassuring).

Well ds is asleep and we are in our room. He went to bed at 6.45pm (fairly usual)

I'm shattered but lying here worrying :-(

Hopefully I'll sleep ok.

I just worry so much Sad

Aw, I remember the first time Ds went in his own room, I'm sure I slept on his floor at some point!

I'll be doing this again very soon with DD, am dreading her not being next to me & having a snoring man next to me again Wink

Well, all was fine and it worked really well Smile

We all slept really well as we weren't disturbing each other Smile

Hope it goes well for everyone who is making the move soon!
