Aaaaargh Storage!

Am just so fed up of STUFF everywhere, and endless cruddy tins, plastic boxes, mis-sharpen Tupperware without lids.
Throwing it all out and starting again, and if i need to spend a million pounds on storage, so be it.

I want loads of clear sided plastic boxes, three different sizes for fridge, freezer, cakes, keys, bits n pieces, so I can stack them and see what is in each box at a glance.
But if I am going to get 30 of the ruddy things, I want to make sure they are good'uns that the lids fit on, that won't break, warp in the dishwasher etc.
Any suggestions? Any supermarket ones any good? Ikea? Or do I have to buy the expensive Really Useful Box ones?

IKEA all the way, I reckon. I just bought brilliant heavy duty card filing boxes from there to sort out masses of paperwork. Not quite what you're looking for, but they had loads of choice. Check online first - they even do delivery these days!

Ikea is the best imo.

We have:
Expedit with drona boxes (mostly for toys, but with some grown up stuff at the top)
Billy bookcase with samla boxes (toys at the bottom, puzzles in the middle, craft stuff at the top)
Lesvik bookcases with gles boxes at the bottom (to sort figures, cars, musical instruments, blocks etc), some free shelves for big toys and kassett boxes higher up for DVDs and CDs.
Fangst hanging baskets for cuddly toys
Under bed boxes for assorted things with no other home

Ikea. And when you buy Tupperware go to a supermarket and get the ones that all fit inside each other.

I need to clear my cupboards out...when you find something you haven't used since you moved in 3 years ago, it's time! Grin

Ikea Kallax four hole book case thingy with four of the folding cardboard fabric covered boxes, less than £30 and all my DSD's stuff just disappears into it. I love it.

Thanks all! Live miles from an Ikea but am going to look online. Went to Dunelm Mill yesterday and spent £70 on clear plastic click & close Tupperware - feel a mite embarrassed but loved the two hours I spent last night organising my utility room!
