Tired all the time??

I'm looking for some advice... I have a toddler (almost 2) who sleeps from 7pm till 9:30am, which is brilliant. I myself am always always tired. It's resulting in me abandoning the housework, staying in, not going anywhere. I have a low blood count and take iron tablets but they just don't work. Does anyone have any advice on how to shift this? It's really upsetting me. Confused

Does your toddler nap as well? If not, I guess he is just getting all his sleep in one go which is nice for you!

As for you, I would go back to your GP. Have you had a very bad virus within the last 6 months or so? How long has it been going on? If you have been ill it is possible that you could have some ongoing fatigue from that but I would see your GP if you've already dealt with the iron thing. Vitamin B12 could be low also, if this is the case you can get shots.

I would see GP it's not normal to feel tired all the time when your child is sleeping through obviously running around after them can make you a little tired but not to the point of having no energy for doing anything. I have found gp's tend to brush tiredness off as you have a child so be firm tell them you are able to sleep all night and it's effecting your day to day life.
