How long was your DC at their 8 week check?

Just curious, as my DD who is my second has her check on Thursday & her feet are almost at the bottom of her 3-6 month baby gro's [Shock]

DS was 61.5cm at his check & he's now about 115cm (4.6yo) a good head above his classmates.

I attempted to measure DD with a tape measure & when she finally kept her legs still she was measuring about 64cm!

I'm 5ft 9, DP is 6ft, so we're not excessively tall.

Anyone else have a very long baby?

My Ds was 52cm at birth, I don't think he was much more than that at his six week check so 64cm sounds long to me!
He is 25th centile for height and me and DH are quite short (5ft and5"7) so he is never going to be tall!

They don't get measured anymore where I live until they can stand.

We didn't have an 8 week check, we had a 4 week (she was 53cm) and 12 week (she was 63cm). So assuming at 8 weeks she would have been exactly in the middle of those Grin, that would have been 58cm.

She's at the taller side of average now, about 75th centile for height.

64cm sounds very long.

Ha, could have phrased the title better!

DD didn't get measured for her length when she was born, as they said they don't do it anymore, so I don't know if she'll get measured on Thursday.

Looks like I have a long legged baby, as all her 0-3 clothes without legs fit her!Grin
