He's always been sensitive, slightly socially cumbersome and easily upset.
In the last month he's seemed to default to anger rather than tears. He gets very cross with me, storms around and scowls. I try to talk to him but he just stares at me blankly.
I've tried chatting to him about angry feelings, suggested angry trampolining, punching/screaming into his pillow, counting to ten etc. But rather than an outburst he just broods.
Today we've had a lovely day, he's had some treats and he had me to himself this afternoon while his little sister was out, but then he left some loom bands creation he'd made at a friend's house by accident and turned sour when I said we weren't going back for them tonight. He got really grumpy with me, so I explained that he'd had several warnings that we were leaving and it was his responsibility to remember it. He's had a face like thunder since then and won't be won round. I am now going for the ignoring policy.
Any insights? It's really unlike him.
