Anyone got any good ideas for gifts for teacher at end of year? Something my little one could make would be good...
Thanks! X

We usually just bake something like muffins.

A handmade card, and if you really want to give a gift, wine or a small box of chocolates.

I read a post the other day about decorating a plain canvas bag which I quite liked.

I'm a teacher and one of my favourite homemade presents I ever received was a big pile of meringues all wrapped up in brown baking paper! You could make plain white ones or add a touch of food colouring to a few?

It was so thoughtful that they'd gone to the effort of making something plus it was something I would actually use and enjoy (I remember we made a huge pavlova style pudding with them - yum). Homemade gifts are lovely but run the risk of teacher guilt when they finally get thrown away. At least with food items you get to eat them instead!
