my ds has an outy belly button and over the last couple of days ive noticed that it has red patches on outy bit. does anyone know what it could be?

Maybe it could be rubbing against his nappy/trousers my dd is the same and occasionally hers looks abit red and blotchy too, but it usually goes again as quickly as it came
