Dd ( nearly 6) won't bloody go to sleep.

It's her bday next Monday and she's is very excited about that. It's also humid. I am getting her in her bed after a bath at 8. Then she lies awake till about 11pm. I'm going mad. Any ideas? I blame the light evenings also.

I agree but dd tries to engage me in conversation, keeps needing the toilet ( she wont go alone) and winges about being ho, hungry, thirsty and other ploys. Its taxing. She winges for Britain if I dont listen.
