My LO has been struggling for the last 2-3 weeks. He didn't have a massive problem with this before but now from about 5am - 9-9.30am everyday he is really struggling, and is really unhappy. He is crying and screaming as he is drawing up his legs etc. nothing I do seems to help. Have tried gripe water, have done cycling of legs etc etc. Eventually he'll fart lots, do as missing poo, and then be happy and ok.

Any suggestions, tips? It's so horrible to see him so unhappy.

My tip would be to make some caffeine free peppermint tea, dilute it and give him some via a syringe before bed (eg calpol syringe). I swear this works better than any of the other things they give you for wind in babies! You listen to the trumping after a few minutes and you will know you have done the right thing!

Let me know how it goes
