DD is 21 months and has caught me by surprise but suddenly telling me she has wee'd and wants a change - every single time. But until we crack potty training I'm going through nappies at a rate of expensive knots.

Also I have a suspicion that when she wee's in the night it is disturbing her as this leads to her getting up so I was thinking of reusables for both day and night.

Hence I was thinking of trying reusables - DD is about 82cm and 11kg - does anyone have any advice?

TIA

Put her on the potty/toilet? My 19mo is training - bit hit and miss but getting more hits than misses after a week or so - so he's only in nappies (cloth) to sleep now. There's no rule that they must be a certain age to be ready :)

Overnight your best bet is a fitted nappy with your choice of wool, fleece or PUL cover. Get a big cover and boost loads - the more fabric in there, the more absorbency the nappy has. Yes, her arse will be the size of a planet and you might have to go up a size in pyjamas! Put a fleece liner (chop up a cheap blanket) in between her and the nappy, it wicks away the wet. TBH the actual weeing wakes my ds so if he goes I have to change him no matter how boosted his nappy is.

All In One or Pocket types are best for day time. PUL outer, fleece inner, and a gap in between to shove the absorbent stuff - AIOs have it sewn on to tuck in, Pockets you get the inserts separately. The cheap ones from Ebay or sites like www.tinynippers.co.uk are good and very cute, or use Boots/Nectar points in your nearest appropriate supermarket. They might seem expensive but go on cost per wear, and whether you can sell them on or use them for another child afterwards. There are also facebook selling sites if you don't mind preloved.
