How many nappies a day do you use on your 1 year old?

Ds has about 6 or 7 per day, a mixture of totsbots and Kooshies basics. The Kooshies only last him a couple of hours but dh uses them as he can't manage the nippas (think sausage fingers!!). But even so I tend to change him before/after a nap plus whenever he poos, obviously. Seems like a lot to me.

Miaou, I use about 6 a day, based on 2 dirty nappies, more obviously, if he has more dirty nappies.

thanks, anyone else? And does it make a difference if they are washables/disposables?

I use about 6 or 7 nappies for my 13month old. I have a bit of a routine where I change: when he wakes, before and after nap, extra one in the afternoon then two at bedtime as he tend to like doing a poo just before he falls asleep and extra ones for dirty nappies. Some times I change and he is not that wet but dont like the idea of leaving him.

Just about to try washables as another baby on the way and just cant afford all the disposables. Hoping he will use the same but guess I wont know til I try them.

Hope that helps
