OK - so the guys are away ....

DH ( nay AH ) is at the rugby and DS is on a sleepover .... so it's me and DD ....

What can I do with her that is a little bit special ( she's aged 8 ) and a bit girlie ....

I'm lacking inspiration ...

We do the movies a lot - so that's nothing out of the ordinary ...

Thanks ladies ....

What about treating her to a grown up evening. A bath where you put expensive smellies in and light candles etc for her. A bit of a spa session - you can take turns doing a mini facial. And then chocs and mags in front of the telly.

My DD is a bit younger than yours but she loves feeling she is a bit more grown up than she really is!

Hope you both have a lovely time togeth

ooooh ... yes yes yes ....
That sounds so much nicer than take-away pizza and the "Princess Diaries!"
Thanks

Last time I took her shopping - she complained of sore feet ....

P'raps we'll shop and then I can give her a pedicure .....

Introduce her to the ..... finer things in life !!!

Thanks

Next time, make sure DH takes her to the rugby so she can feel all grown up .... then take yourself off to the spa so you can too!'
