D/S going backwards...

Ds who turned 4 in July is starting school in September. This may well be the root of this problem but would still like some advice

Over the last few weeks he has starting having frequent wee accidents in the day as well as at night. he has always had the odd one buts its never been an issue. he has been dry in the day for 18 months and dry at night since the new year. We went back to pull ups at night for a week or so as I culdnt cope with the washing duvets every day (and yes we do have a plastic sheet!) they have now run out and I dont want to get any more so he starts to rely on them again, so we are back to braving it at night.

but he has also had 3 poo accidents, 2 at nursery and 1 at home and when asked about it he denies all knowledge of it and pretends he hasnt done it. he even sat like that for almost an hour at nursery before they realised it was coming from him.

Do I just put this down to being anxoius about school? Have asked him about it but he says he is fine etc, or as much as a 4 year old can explain how they might feel and I know that he might be feeling this subconsciously. OR could this be something else?

Even when we were potty training he was never having poo accidents like this.

sorry for the long post but hope you can suggest something.
Am going to start yet another sticker chart tomorrow and see if this helps

Thanks
Hazel
