Am I pregnant again?! Help

I had my little boy just over 4 months ago. Bled from birth till about 6 weeks later, I started taking my pill at this point. I stopped bleeding then had a period for 5 days. But I haven't had another period since then. That was about 6/7 weeks ago. Could I be pregnant again? I have taken a few tests, all except were one negative and the one that wasn't neg was inconclusive. Don't know what to think. I still haven't shifted any weight, I seem to be putting little bits on which is strange considering I'm breastfeeding. Sorry to ramble :s

Taking the pill, breastfeeding and negative pg tests? Sounds v. unlikely to me!!

Well not everyone loses weight whilst breastfeeding. Some (like me!) are unlucky and it made me cling on to my baby weight and fueled my appetite as well meaning more weight crept on.

It seems very unlikely that you could be pregnant, but maybe you could go to the GP if you are worried.

Guessing you're on the mini pill if you're breastfeeding? That can stop periods/make them irregular. Last year I was breastfeeding and on the mini pill and I thought I was pregnant all the time, it was seriously annoying! Loved being back on the combined pill so I could have periods...

I can't remember which pill it is, I just know that it's the one I have to take everyday without fail. I have had an extremely upset stomach for a few months as I didn't realise I was lactose intolerant, I know this can affect the pill.

Yeh that's the mini pill. It does do crazy things to your cycle! But I'm sure you're fine if you've had negative tests.

Breastfeeding can also stop your periods.
I highly doubt you are pregnant.

I got fatter breastfeeding and periods came back after three months (same as when I didn't bf). Not all 'rules' are true!

For me, the mini pill took a good 8-9 months to settle done. And I put in weight whilst breast feeding. It's not impossible that your are pregnant again but unlikely. Maybe have a chat with the health visitor re contraception you might feel more confident about.
