Not for the faint hearted.......
My little one has always been a chewer. From the offset she's sucked and chewed stuff. She scratches too. My 5 year old has scratches and scars all over his body. I keep her nails short but she still manages to scratch sometimes drawing blood!
To a certain extent she's grown out of the chewing.
She does however still put stuff I'm her mouth.
The other day she was on the loo. I was hovering in the background. Incase she needed me to wipe her. She was very quiet. I took a peak and saw her putting her fingers in her mouth. She denied she'd had put pooey fingers in her mouth. I sniffed her mouth and could smell it. I was mortified. I told her NO. It was not nice and it'd make her ill.
As of yet she's not done it again.
This arvo she's approached me and said she had something up her nose. I couldn't see anything. Got her to blow in tissue and nothing.
She's not long sneezed and a 2" pink woollen thread shot out of her nose.
Other than these incidents she's developing fine. Speaks well, understands and is out if nappies.
I never had any of this with my 5 year old.
I'm getting worried? Should I be?
Any ideas on dealing with this stuff?
She seems to think its funny and is at that terrible twos -threes stage!
She is already at nursery. I have asked them about her issues but they say she's a dream.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
