Children's books about adoption?

My Dsis has adopted 2 lovely boys. They're 5 and 7 so know what's happening and why etc and seem to be settling in very well.

My DS is 3.5yo and has met them once and we've had lots of conversations with him. He has been asking why Dsis and bil are their new mummy and daddy and what happened to the old ones. I always said I wanted to be honest with him to save hard conversations when he's older. So I said their old mummy and daddy weren't very nice to them and that's why they have a new mummy and daddy. The trouble is, this is now playing on his mind a bit and he's become very protective of us. I want to reassure him that he's going nowhere and he'd never get taken away. I need him to understand also so that he doesn't say something to my new nephews which might impact on how well they're settling.

My cm suggested maybe a children's book that explains adoption. Does anyone know of anything that might be suitable?

I got a book on amazon about The Teazels which DD liked - but there are loads of others too.

Thank you so much, I've gone for Nutmeg Gets Adopted because it will take my DS through from birth parents to adoptive parents which is what he's struggling with.
