Is it a myth that parenting gets easier?

I have 2 DC age 4.6 and 20 months. I was led to believe that it gets easier. Compared to 1 year ago, it has become ever so slightly easier in the physical sense but no more.

I love my Children am 100% confident I will give my all to them forever, but does it get easier? Or is this it?

Mentally I'm messed up since having children anyway so if it gets easier physically, then thats a result for me : )

Yes and no. DD is 13, and while she is more independent in many ways, she needs me more.

The pressure of schoolwork, bullying, friendship issues are things you never have to worry about when your children are little.
