DD is now 6 months and feel she needs some more toys. She has a play gym and jumperoo which are big hits but need some other bits for her.

Any ideas gratefully received.

The tomy play eggs have kept my 11month old amused for months now, best £7 I've ever spent Smile

I second the Tomy play eggs, they are eggselent!
Also, I have just bought a dolly tea set from Emma Bridgewater and that is going down a treat/ baby is 8 months old

Ds loves a telephone on wheels, plastic bowls and cups, pasta in an empty bottle, and unfortunately electric cables and the sweeping brush.

Best thing DD had at that age was a wooden arch from ikea with bits dangling off it. As she'd just learned to sit up this had toys at eye height rather than down on the ground.

Anything musical was/is a big hit too, but will drive you mad...

Have you got one of those toys that sucker onto the highchair? I've just bought this from a charity shop and ds loves it. He likes the highchair, but other toys tend to end up on the floor very quickly. He also likes those wind-up tvs - it only comes out occasionally because I like my sanity.
