My ex is not allowed to see dd - court decision. My dd is 9 and has not seen her dd since she was 2. She has no real memories of him. I have tried to be as open as i can about him and answer questions and if appropriate mention her dad in conversation. However now i dont know if i need to say more about why she cant see her dad as she is asking more questions.
Her dad was violent towards me and he also did not turn up for access visits arranged informally between us when we had first split up. The bottom line is he does not care about her but i cant say that.
