Terrible mum alert... :(
My 14 month old was playing this morning with his older cousin and the cat with a ball of wool and his cousin pulled it and it friction burned my little ones neck really badly :( he's got a thick weeping mark round the crease of one side of his neck and its very sore. He won't let me touch it or even try and look but managed (with a lot of screaming) to wipe it and put sudocream on earlier. Its in a really awkward place and worried it could get infected, any advice please I feel terrible. Thanks

If it's weeping, I'd go to GP tomorrow.

I was thinking I might. Don't want to seem like I'm overreacting but best to be on safe side I think? Makes it worse in the crease as if anywhere that's where dirt will collect!!

Hope your lo feels better today. At my gp, the advanced nurse practitioner sees babies, and wouldn't mind you going with a rope burn like ghat.
