BF mums when did your period return?

My DS is 5 months and still no period. Should I be worried? Except for one bottle a day I am Breastfeeding him still. TIA

18 months I had stopped BF at 4 months but I do have PCOS which might have had something to do with it

It didn't. Got pregnant for the first time in 2010, now have 2DC and no period.

About 20 months, was starting to wonder if it would ever come back. Still BF DS, no real change in amount, it just came back.

For a few months before I did get the occasional very slight heavy cramp-like feeling, as if I was about to start a period. Never came to anything though and was very mild. I figured it was my body getting in gear to start again.

Wow!! It really seems to vary! Defo am not worried that after 4 months mine isn't back yet. Seems like it can take a long time to return when BF!! Thanks everyone put my mind at ease

10 weeks after DS and 8 weeks after DD!

At 6 months. I am still BF at 10 months. Bloody raging. I'd hoped for at least a year. DD2 still BF at least 5 times every 24 hours. Had to get a damn coil fitted 2 months ago and it's still not settled down IYKWIM. Grrr.

13 months. A month after I stopped breast feeding. Stopped specifically to try and conceive number 2. Still waiting 6 months later.

13 months unexpected on Christmas morning (I was not prepared)

9 months. On the day of my best friend's wedding (typical!)

BF for 6 months & came back about 3 months after I stopped

With both DDs it was exactly 4 weeks after I moved on from exclusive BF to solids and 1 bottle of formula before bedtime. So that was 7 months for both of them.
