not sure where to put thread - Q about shoe size

Hi

DS is 22 mo and I've always taken him to Clarks to get measured/buy his shoes. I know that their sizing is different from other stores, done on purpose I imagine so you don't get a free measuring and then bugger off to get cheaper shoes on line.

Does anyone know how to convert Clarks sizes into 'regular' sizes? Or if other show shops do a similar measuring service?

Thanks

You can google sizing charts, but to be honest, you should always get children's shoes properly fitted, until their feet stop growing, as poorly fitting shoes can affect the shape of their feet for their whole life.

Even Clarks shoes will vary from style to style, and some styles may not be suitable, because of the shape of your child's feet.

Sorry, I didn't answer your second question. All proper shoe shops will measure and fit shoes for your child's feet. See if you can find a good independent one near you. Spend a little more on shoes and cut back in other areas, if you need to.

I always find Clarks sizes are the same as everyone else's.

Although they can be useless, if your DC says these are too big, too small, hurt, always listen to your child not the 'expert' fitter.

Much money is saved this way!
