Just wondering, if you are a mum or dad, any age children, what would you say is the best advice you have ever received? Any pearls of wisdom? Practical advice? Encouragement? Anything like that. Just something that has really stuck and influenced you personally. Thanks

There is no such thing as a professional in parenting, many people who say they are have no children. All of us are learning on the job and as every child is different there is no instruction book. So don’t get into comparing or belittling yourself looking at others. Just remember that when you don't get it right (as every honest parent will say they do frequently) you are dealing with someone who loves you so much they will give you space to try again.
