My 12yo DS has gotten himself into a situation with YouTube. We've given him a pretty free rein with the internet but have monitored his viewing and relied quite heavily on family safety settings with our ISP. This seems to have failed pretty catastrophically as I noticed last night that on his YouTube channel he's like some pretty inappropriate stuff (I.e. porn).
He's been doing some creative uploads with his brother which includes quite a lot of video editing and the like which I haven't discouraged. Of course, these were nice to share with family and he's now hyperventilating realising that 'granny' can see what he's liked.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can unstick from the mess he's gotten himself into? Can you remove a YouTube channel completely? How can we remove a like from a video? Un liking it will give us the same problem! Any suggestions for family protection for his laptop and tablet?
