Hi my dd (aged 3.6) has finally decided to use the toilet after months of fruitless 'training'. I'm a bit worried though as in the mornings she seems to pass cloudy urine, which I have heard can be connected with urinary tract infections. She still has a disposable nappy at night-time, but it's usually dry, and I haven't recently put any nappy rash cream/talc on her bottom. I asked her if it hurts when she wees and she says it doesn't (and I believe her, she doesn't seem to wince while weeing or want to avoid it).
Any thoughts? Should I take her to a GP?

catherine, could it just be that her morning 'wee' is abit more concentrated (which would make sense)

Does she complain of pain when she pu's?

get her to the gp if you are worried, they can do a very simple dip-stick test in the surgery.

well done with the toilet training though!
