Just that really, invited 27 children to DD's 4th birthday party a week ago, had 5 replies, party is a week on Saturday, need to let party entertainer know numbers/gender etc, checked that nursery had given invites out and they have. WWYD?

Lots of time yet for people to respond, I would until after this weekend and then start chasing people.

weeblueberry · 14/05/2014 20:21

Did you mention a response date on them?

Mexicantortilla · 14/05/2014 21:30

No, I just put my name and Mobil number on and asked thm to advise of any dietary needs and to give consent /or not for face painting so this took up all the space on the invite! I would have thought this alone would suggest they need to respond and not just ignore?

People are useless, try not to take it personallySmile if you don't have contact details to chase could you do a small slip or something to give out on Monday?

MaryAnnTheDasher · 15/05/2014 22:03

Don't worry. We had similar thing happen in feb, i was beside myself convinced we'd need to cancel. You'll get a flurry of responses prob next week. S ome people actually just turned up on the day and i spoke to the venue before to ask if they could be flexible with numbers on the day, so that was ok although i was a bit pissed off with the parents who did that! In the end i think we had 16 out of 20 at the party so just be patient (hard i know!)
