I'm thinking this one. I wsnt a high backed chair, it disassembles easily without being a proper loghtweight travel one, and it has good reviews. I want to spend about £700, but am happy to go up to £885 for 3 grands worth of scooter! And call me silly, but i want black wheels, not grey Blush
This one has a higher weight range than the other i was looking at, so i figured it'd get little me (haha) up a hill better? Anything else I havent thought of?
Know i need a ramp for my front door, but gonna leave that for now and just make sure dh sets it up outside for me. Waiting for my o/t referral, so hopefully can wait long enough that they can sort that out!!

Treating myself to a pair of smart crutches too :)

Beyond, I used a mobility scooter on holiday (CFS) and it was so brilliant being able to do things without getting overly exhausted. Am Considering getting one for general life now. Emotional decision.

Anyway, how are you finding the one you got?

Careco are very good on price however, I helped my father buy one on the web, we needed bigger scooter so looking at £1500 for 8mph we found used mobility scooters on website www.houseofmobility.co.uk, the scooter was nearly new and a lot cheaper, just to top it off we had a 12 Month warranty like Careco, but we only spent £895 on the same scooter, my father loved it and I would recommend these to anyone.
