Posted earlier this week about DS who has been screaming the moment his bottle has been in his eyeline and trying to suckle but pulling off the teat and wailing.
Although he's only just turned 4 months, he is definitely teething. Infinite amounts of drool, gnawing at hands, lots of phlegm, coughing, clingy, screamy etc. a few days ago, two teeth became visible in his top gums.
Since then, he's been a lot more content during the day. He's still drooling and biting his fingers (isn't quite coordinated enough with the teething toys we've bought) but he's still bottle refusing; he no longer screams when it's in his mouth,he just refuses point blank to eat during the day.
He will, however, take his 7/1030pm and 4am bottles (6/7 oz) but he went from4am-7pm today, taking just 8 oz. We offered the bottle every time he looked hungry but he'd do a few half-hearted sucks, then then away.
We've tried hotter, colder, slower/faster teats, quiet room, new milk...the boy has just lost total interest in eating.
Any ideas? He started dropping his afternoon bottle a few weeks back but it's just become progressively worse.
