Probably a PFB question

Ds is 11m and crawling every where. He is getting very red and sore looking knees. Did/do you put anything on them? He normally has trousers on but not sure if that makes it better/worse? As it gets warmer he's likely to have shorts/rompers ok. Am in stressing over nothing?! Flooring is a mix of carpet, tile & vinyl if that makes any difference?

Not PFB, but they will toughen up. I used to put E45 or Aveeno on at night. If you can find soft cotton lined jeans, they are the best for stopping the redness. Protective without the extra rub of denim on its own.

Is he cruising? That will help, and then he'll be walking before you know it.

Thanks, he gets eczema on his legs so I guess I'm just worried about making them sore, then he might not want to crawl. I actually used some e45 tonight. His trousers are pretty soft, he doesn't actually have any jeans poor boy
Walking with the baby walker but not really cruising yet. I'm sure it won't be long!

It won't be long now!

I think I used Eight Hour Cream (on baby sore ish patches). It's basically Vaseline, so that might be worth trying too.

Both mine have had baby eczema. E45 didn't really help TBH. Aveeno is bloody marvellous. We get the bath oil and moisturiser on prescription for DD.
