help! doing TA course and need suggestions for ICT activity to improve skills.

well, I'm not that great with ICT myself, so struggling to come up with anything.

what would be good for pupils (primary school age) to learn?

Powerpoint is fun and fairly easy

scratch.mit.edu. My childrens school use Scratch and we have used it at home too. Don't know of its the kind of thing you mean,

I was thinking PowerPoint, but have never used it myself so worried about including it. how does it work? so, they could do a PowerPoint presentation on....I need to think.

I hate this course. Sad

NOT PowerPoint...waste of time and effort also not terribly related to current ict/computing curriculum.

Look at scratch, also www.codeclub.org.uk has lots of very easy scratch projects you can do...also they will be offering training for teachers in the new curriculum so maybe you could access that?
