Did you have a 9 month sleep regression?

We're just recovering from the four month sleep regression and I've heard there's a nine month one too! Just wondered how bad this was for people? We've actually booked a holiday for nine months so trying to prepare myself! ;)

Going through it right now.

Actually it started at 8 months and now, 2 months later, it's worse than ever.

My placid, easy going sleep lover has turned into a limpet limbed insomniac.

Sorry.

Yes here too, twins slept really well and at 8 and a half months started waking up early (4.50am / 5am) and in night sometimes, am sooooooo shattered. They are teething and the early light isn't helping. Please someone tell me its a phase.

neversleepagain · 06/05/2014 20:20

To be honest, we haven't had any of these sleep regressions. However, DTD2 went through a difficult stage at 18 months with teething (which hadn't happened before). It lasted a week. Not all babies go through sleep regressions, don't worry.

Melonbreath · 06/05/2014 20:25

It's a phase!
We had the four month regression, the six month regression and then from 9 months all hell broke loose until 14 months when I snapped after GP diagnosed me with clinical exhaustion. I stopped breast feeding as was dd's sleep association. She only fed at night by this
point (every hour) i started to only offer water at night and oh put her to bed for a few nights. After three sleepless nights dd started sleeping through, and three months later she's still doing it!!!! We get a few wakeup calls if she's teething but even that's got better it used to be every 45 minutes.
I really hope we miss out the 18 month one....... I hope that's a myth. I've finally begun to feel human again

Nope. Once they got to 4 and 5 months respectively both DC slept through consistently barring illness. Never looked back. We were very strict through, fed, dark rooms, door shut.

I hate to tell you this, but I discovered a 26 month sleep regression a while back!

AlmondFrangipani · 07/05/2014 10:59

Going through it now after bad sleep for 6mo! Teething isn't helping though!

Yep also still going through it - it is getting better now that DS is 11 months but it started at 8 months - sorry!!
