2nd birthday parties / things to do

Am after inspiration for my DD's 2nd birthday at the end of September.... what did you do?

Softplay......lazy option but keeps a gaggle of screaming kids destroying my house Grin

Went to the farm for ds 2nd today.

I had three of her friends around for a butterfly/insect themed party. I cut biggish butterfly shapes and everyone decorated them with cut out shapes, sequins, etc. I made a pin the bee on the flower (tail in the donkey). A treasure hunt to find paper insects I'd hidden (pictures I'd downloaded and cut out) each child had a different type to find.
Pass the parcel, musical statues and all with lots of help from mums.
Pasta salad for lunch/tea and birthday cake.
Simple but fun for everyone.

It was a just a party that turned out really well.

We took her to the zoo, then had a party for family the next weekend.
