hi any advice would be appreciated!
my 11 week old son who is EBF has suffered from awful gas pains, he brings burps up fine but there always seems to be some ive missed and hours later will be squirming around in pain until he passes gas. his belly is always hard and bloated and if I touch it he will tense up. hes not constipated, goes 2-3 times a day. it seems to be the worst at night and the only way to settle him is to feed him or put him on my chest to sleep.

from other peoples experiences when did thier babies stop having gas pains or get used to the feeling??

thanks

rozzy has he been checked for tongue tie?

No he hasnt.. the doctor in the hospital only took a quick peek in his mouth.. not under his tongue. Would I take him to the g.p for this?

No - the GP is unlikely to have the skills TBH.

See if you can find an IBCLC or breastfeeding counsellor to check.

How is he when he feeds? Does he slip off a lot? And is it comfortable for you? Does your nipple look a funny shape after he comes off?
