Terrible twos ?? Terrible threes more like !!

My 3 year old is all of a sudden been a right little sod lol everything I tell him not to do he wants to do . Everything I want us to do he diesnt want to do ! "No" and "don't want to" are his fave new things to say tell me it's just a short phase ... Haha :-/

Ah, welcome to the threenager year.... DS is getting over the worst I hope and he'll be 4 in a couple of months. 3-3.5 was pretty hellish!

I only said to dp last night that 3 is so much worse than 2! Wasn't expecting it at all, we got off pretty lightly with the terrible twos, so I think he is just making up for it now and to teach me a lesson about feeling smug!

I now get no, why, don't want to or completely ignored for every request.

Hahaha sorry ! well i didn't really get the terrible twos so maybe your dc will have got it all out their system !! Threenage pretty much sums it up (never heard the phrase before but it's spot on!) sulky stroppy threenager !! Soooo when will it end ? Ha x

Oh, we've had the terrible 2s for the past 18 months.
Maybe its a terrible 18 months, and we're about to come out of it?

As I said, the 4 yr old is lovely (except he's been a triceratops for the past few weeks, and has spent his time growling in the back of his throat which is driving me crazy).

Consensus is its going to be over by 3.5?? But might get worse for a bit?? Great Hmm

It seems to be getting worse maybe about to peak then be done by the 3.5 mark ... Fingers crossed!! Grin

We're nearly at 3.5 yay, only another month of it to go. -Desperately clutching at that little nugget of hope!

Actually that's another thing, at two would eat anything, now only wants nuggets, resulting in tears 6 days out of 7!
