Poop disaster

My dear sweet DS just pooped himself in the bath which would be ok if he didn't have all his toys in there with him. It's only a baby bath so will it be ok to just Milton the lot??? ( he eats all his toys so I'm freaking right out) by far the most disgusting thing his done in his 8 months on earth :)

Dd2 has done this a few times. I washed all the toys in hot water and fairy liquid, then left them to soak in a bowl of Milton.

bonzo77 · 30/04/2014 19:37

ummm. i put the lot through the dishwasher Blush Shock.

Don't have a dishwasher :( so hot water and Milton it is!

You've done well to escape this up until now. My 6 month old has done poos in the bath on 3 consecutive days over the past week. I'm getting more than a bit fed up of it now!

But yes, agree, very hot water and Milton (or a good glug if antibacterial spray and water, if no Milton).

FruitBasedDrinkForALady · 30/04/2014 20:50

Yep, hot water followed by Milton. Both DD and DS have done this to me. DS decided this morning that the bath is no longed gross enough...I went in to get him up and he had escaped from his sleeping bag, babygro and vest, was swinging his nappy around his head and rubbing poo into the sheet.

sososotired · 30/04/2014 20:54

I'm sorry fruit but that is really funny but! I hope my child never does that I will most certenly have heart failure!
Was he proud of himself?

Pooing in the bath is DD's new trick. I'm sure she thinks she is magicking a new bath toy out of pure will and effort. Grin

rachyconks · 30/04/2014 20:59

Yep. I rinse everything and fill bath again with Milton anf leave overnight. DD always does stealth poos in the bath - it's covered by the bubbles and sometimes it's a whole before we realise! Gross.

sososotired · 30/04/2014 21:00

PML I love that you can make fun of it Uri I got really freaked out!

He seemed a little freaked out by the bits of sweetcorn but loved the shower so much I think he might just try it again. Sending DH in to get him in the morning...

AdeptusMechanicus · 30/04/2014 21:29

I would milton them and soak with very hotwater. That will pretty much kill any germs on them.

bonzo77 · 30/04/2014 21:40

We don't have bubbles because of the poos. We do have a special sieve though. If I can catch the turd whole there's no need to abandon bath time IMO. Unfortunately ds2 has consumed a little before now.
