Hi, don't know if you have submitted your application yet, but I have been in the same position as you, and I asked a work colleague instead. Not entirely acceptable I know, but he worked closely with me and was able to write about my reliability, teamwork, coping with pressure etc. Do you have anyone like that you could ask?

I did it yesterday. Boss was ok actually.tirns out I'm not the only one applying so didn't feel as bad!
