My first baby is due in August and I want to use cloth nappies. Can anyone recommend a good brand please? Thanks

No.

You have to find out which system suits you and which brand fits your baby. For DD I like pocket nappies and Bumgenius are a good fit.

Get along to your local nappy library and hire a trial pack to find out what suits you and what fits your baby.

Thanks stargirl. My problem is that I'm living overseas at the moment and therefore ideally need to buy them before the baby is born.

Where overseas are you? Bungenius and Fuzzibunz are both American (I think), and available lots of places. These are my preferred brands, but u also have a bunch of totsbots that I mainly use at night because they're easy to boost.

I bought only a few at a time of different makes until I worked out what we really got on with. The Nappy Lady website a has a questionnaire to help you choose (although the answers didn't really correspond to what I wanted). Do you want to use from birth, or wait a few months?

Thanks callamia, that's really helpful. I'm in New York so I'll check out bungenius and fuzzibunz.

I'd really like to use them from birth if possible.

Thanks for suggesting the nappy lady, I'll try her questionnaire.

Terries & Motherease wraps initially followed by Birth-to-Potty BunGenius/Fuzzi Bunz?

Don't buy lots of one brand. I had my heart set on Tots Bots but they just didn't fit DD without leaking. Look at eBay for preloved.

Thanks again stargirl. I'll take your advice and buy a few different brands.

You can always sell the brands you don't get on with on ebay

It is a nice idea, the reality of it is not, good luck.

Did you have no luck selling cloth on eBay, Effective?
