When did your DC start teething?

How old were your dcs when they started teething? Ds is 4 1/2 months and is spending a lot of time chewing on his hands and is more grizzly than usual. Is he too young for teething?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

DD started showing the typical signs of teething at about 11 weeks; chewing on hands, dribbling a lot, red cheeks etc. She's now 23 weeks and still has no teeth! She goes through phases of showing the signs, I think when they are pushing up through her gums. 4 1/2 months isn't too young, some babies are born with teeth!

No not to early at all, one of my dds had two teeth at four and a half months. My Ds had teething symptoms from about 3 months I was convinced one was on the way it finally came through 5 months later! I think that the teeth moving in the gums may cause some of the symptoms Ds was really grumpy for about a week before it came through. I didn't realise it was through until he bit my finger!:)
