NCT refresher

Going to post this in pregnancy thread too. Has anyone done an NCT antenatal refresher course. I'm interested because we only made it to one session last time because my baby was born prematurely by EMCS the following week. Therefore I still have no idea about labour! And the refresher courses say they cover things like introducing a new baby to older siblings etc.. Is it worth doing?? Cost is £97!

Not done one sorry. If the cost is an issue, can you pay in instalments?

How much do you think you will benefit? Do you think that learning more about labour and birth would help you to cope?

More thinking about pain relief options, birthing positions, relaxation techniques and all that jazz really. And accepting new baba into the family. But may all be a waste of time if I have another section! Just curious to see if anyone else had done the course as it doesn't seem to be offered everywhere so I don't know anyone else to ask about it.

I enquired about them but they didn't have enough people wanting to do them at the time, so we didn't. I did go to antenatal yoga at which we had a regular chat about birth, babies etc and the teacher who ran that did one-day birth preparation courses.
