Paid child tax credits?

I have been paid my child tax credits today rather than on Monday..... Does anyone know why this would be ? As far as I'm aware it's not a bank holiday so there is no reason to be paid early??

Id ring and check they are quite nice and helpful just to make sure they know theyve paid you.

They might have underpaid you and this is them sorting it

It might just be because it's the new tax year or something? Mine went a bit wonky in Feb/March but have straightened out now and when I worked it out it was the right amount, just paid in 4 instalments instead of 2!
