I know you've said case closed on this, and I don't have very much to add really, but just wanted to say I understand your worries (I'm a worrier, too, and have just one very precious ds). We all have slightly different attitudes to parenting and what's right for someone isn't necessarily right for someone else, but trusting someone else with care of your child is a tricky one and in the end, you have to trust your own instincts ? that's what they're there for. In the end, nothing happened and your child was safe ? that's the main thing. Perhaps this episode has taught you something about yourself and what you feel comfortable with ? whether or not anyone else would feel the same isn't really relevant.
