Ergo baby carrier - how old was/were your dc?

Just wondering as dd (12 weeks) absolutely hates it! I'm not pushing her into using it as it upsets her so much, but I keep trying it every so often.
The infant insert seemed to constrict her legs too much, and without it it seems to force her legs out to the sides too much. I'm wondering if she's just a bit too little?
I'm sure ds was happy in a baby carrier by this age, but it was such a long time ago (7 years) that I can't really remember Blush

About 5 months. From 3.5 months we moved from Moby to Ergo without the insert but just the cushion to give a bit of a lift. This worked well.

Stick with it. I think you are at an inbetween stage where the insert is too much but her legs are not long enough to poke out?
I would try again in a week or so but also consider going to a local sling meet to ensure you are using it all correctly.

I didn't get on with it when DD was that little, I found the newborn insert a pain in the neck tbh. Now she's old enough to be in it without the insert, and her legs dangle out either side it's brilliant. Think it took til about 5 months though!
