That exactly it really. I love my children to the ends of the earth, id walk over burnig coals for them, they are my life but I think I can be a better mum...

I think I get the basics right, healthy diets, treats on a weekend, good bed time routines...

Tell me what makes a good mum so I can work out what I can do better...

Time & fun!

I spent an hour in the park with my ds this afternoon, going down the slide, climbing and chasing him. He was so happy & after a week of high stress & tears on my part, I've not been so happy in a while. We were the pair on the park having the best time of everyone.

I think spending quality time with them is the best way to be a good mum. Sometimes easier said than done with all the demands on us but some undivided attention is the perfect gift to any child.

That's where I feel I struggle...when I can have time with them I don't know what to do, or I lose interest or they lose interest....

feel free too judge...

If your child/children are old enough let them choose the activity that should help keep their interest!

I agree with the post above spending time with your children makes a good mum! Lots of love and affection. :)

Play to your strengths. No two mothers are alike and no mother is perfect. For some reason I was good at chatting to my daughter and discussing everything under the sun, but I was hopeless at playing with her.
