Messy Mummy

In the last couple of days I have -

Dropped a choccy raisin on DS (4 weeks) but only realised after I found melted chocolate all over his back, my leg and the sofa cushion.
Dropped a noodle on his face whilst trying to eat and feed Blush.
Leaned over to pick up a muslin just before expressing and sprayed milk all over the floor (this happened a few times before I worked out what was happening).
Dropped my hand pump on DHs face while he was asleep (I was expressing in bed and DS kicked it out of my hand.

I knew this Mummy malarkey would be messy but I was thinking more along the lines of nappies and sick.

Anyone else care to share? Smile

Gosh, I lost count of the food dropped on Dd's head whilst she was bf. Ketchup was the one that panicked me the most Blush
I dropped my mobile on her head once too!

BBQ sauce all over my very new born DS's head. He was in a sling at the time and I didn't notice until it had congealed around the edges. My MIL gave me a very funny look later in the day when she kissed him on the head (I'd managed to remove it but he has a lot of hair, and the smell lingered...)

He's often crumby.

A friend brought us KFC for tea when we were nesting in with newborn ds. I had that frantic breastfeeding induced hunger and scoffed it down in about 3 mins flat then looked down and realised ds head had been covered in spicy wing crumbs as he fed. Looked like rather odd cradle cap!

Beautiful new baby blue outfit ruined by spaghetti bolognese! Poor DS!
